Wed, 19 April 2006 I am sorry to say, I have been in a rut with information. My seemingly abrupt end to posting of my podcast is a result of workflow. I will become more dilegent as soon as I get my studio together. As of now, please make sure to check out my friend Grace at Design Sponge with her new podcast; Covering interviews with designers and other creatives around the globe. She's a whit!!Best to all and I will soon be sending audio fodder again. Seth Category: general -- posted at: 1:34 PM Comments[0] |
Mon, 26 December 2005 I can only say that I had a glorious Christmas with my family. Lots of food, music, sitting around and enjoying each other's company as well as the occasional present opening.I have realized in the passing years that present are the only thing keeping kids motivated for the holidays. Not caroling, making gingerbread houses, sending cards or GIVING gifts. It's just the sheer idea of getting that ONE thing they have been asking for for the last 2 months. My Daughter herself is happy with the turn-out and I hope she is appreciative of those gifts as well as how much our family was that she could be there to share it with them. I know when I was her age I longed to see my grandparents and family I missed throughout the year. I even remember we would play charades quite a bit and I was always the little actor. I hope as the years go by and I gain more space I can continue that tradition. I hope everyone else had a wonderful time. If you didn't, stay tuned and listen to my upcoming podcast and hear some inspiring things to keep you going until your next downtime. Best to all and to enjoying a wonderful New Years! Mon, 21 November 2005 ![]() From the Mexican Bigfoot, "El Chupacabra" to the Aliens hiding in the athmosphere, everyone has built up a fear of one monster or another. Each of us are scared out of our whits with a childhood, or even an adult vision of a terrifying creature. I invite you, my listeners, to submit a creative story for our upcoming segment, "Monsters in the Closet." Keep your head under the sheets and aluminum foil cap on while I bring to you silly and scary tales from our youth.< Category: general -- posted at: 4:14 PM Comments[0] |
Mon, 7 November 2005 A couple of the topics I would like to highlight in the next couple segments of Sparrowcast would be wonderfully enhanced by your input! Please share with me your experiences in one or all of the following topics.1. What was your most embarasing moment as a child and how that has effected you as an adult? 2. Who was a defining person in your past that has motivated you to be the creative person you are now? 3. When you think of superheros, who would be the one that defines you as an individual? 4. What kind of space do you use to create your artistic creations? 5. How many times have you questioned yourself and not done something because of it? That's about it for now. I will have similar questions posted for future shows and soon (I hope) will have an audio outlet so my listeners and/or contributors can SAY what they want for Sparrowcast shows. Look forward to your responses. Category: general -- posted at: 12:04 PM Comments[4] |
Sun, 6 November 2005 Now that the latest episode of Sparrow is out, I am eager to start recording again. I have a complete bokmark section on my browser just eekin' to get listed off.My next episode should have another couple new topics to cover as well as an interview with a friend of mine, Malia Fee. She is a local musician and I'm eager for you to hear her stuff. I have been looking up and listening to other great podcasts. I would like to suggest adding these as staples to any podcaster's list. I will be talking about those come next time. On a personal note, I am trying to get a better/cleaner commentary voice and writing out lot more information to follow along with so i don't ramble on, and on, and on, and on, and... I look forward to hearing from any of my listeners to see how they feel about the show: SPARROWCAST@yahoo.com Ciao for now, Seth Category: general -- posted at: 9:49 PM Comments[0] |
Mon, 31 October 2005 Keep this on your mind for the next show. Wed, 19 October 2005 Now if you are as old as I am and went through that car stage where you had to have the coolest car on the road, then you most likely went through the Trans Am phase. And of course during that phase you were probably influenced considerably by the Smokey and the Bandit movies. I'd like to hit on something most people don't or didn't know about that movie and that was the co-star, Burt Reynold's co-bandit, Jerry Reed.
Jerry Reed has been a favorite or mine for quite a while, in fact since the release of the Bandit movies. I am going to highlight an upcoming show primarily about Jerry Reed.
This will be a continuing theme throughout the Sparrowcast lifetime. Stay tuned and watch for the sparrow! Category: general -- posted at: 1:32 PM Comments[1] |
