Mon, 26 December 2005 I can only say that I had a glorious Christmas with my family. Lots of food, music, sitting around and enjoying each other's company as well as the occasional present opening.I have realized in the passing years that present are the only thing keeping kids motivated for the holidays. Not caroling, making gingerbread houses, sending cards or GIVING gifts. It's just the sheer idea of getting that ONE thing they have been asking for for the last 2 months. My Daughter herself is happy with the turn-out and I hope she is appreciative of those gifts as well as how much our family was that she could be there to share it with them. I know when I was her age I longed to see my grandparents and family I missed throughout the year. I even remember we would play charades quite a bit and I was always the little actor. I hope as the years go by and I gain more space I can continue that tradition. I hope everyone else had a wonderful time. If you didn't, stay tuned and listen to my upcoming podcast and hear some inspiring things to keep you going until your next downtime. Best to all and to enjoying a wonderful New Years!
